Telehuset is situated on a clifftop, close to the centre of Korpo with good basic services nearby (address: Pakastontie). Former telecommunications building now functions as the “head office” of the organisation Väståbolands utvecklingscentral.

FLEX project can offer 2 furnished offices for 4 people. The package includes an Internet connection, a set of keys, a mail box, and the right to use a copy machine and shared kitchen facilities. Meeting rooms with videoconferencing equipment are also available. Working in Telehuset also means having the luxury of a beautiful sea view.

Transport connections, accommodation, meals and other services

The distance between Turku and Korpo is approximately 80 kilometres, and the easiest way to get there is by car (Take the road Skärgårdsvägen/Saaristotie through Kaarina, Pargas and Nagu). Bus connections are also available (for timetables see: Matkahuolto.fi). When travelling to Korpo, it is worthwhile to check beforehand the timetables for the ferries operating between Pargas and Nagu, and between Nagu and Korpo. Walking is an easy way to get around in the centre of Korpo, but a car is necessary for longer distances. Bringing a bicycle would also be a good idea.

The accommodation in Korpo is offered by B&B Faffas and Hotel Nestor, which are both located approximately 5 kilometres from Telehuset and the centre of Korpo.  Breakfast is included in the price, and the restaurants Mäk Hjalmar and Buffalo serve lunch in the centre of Korpo. You can also find a grillroom/café in the centre of Korpo.

DALSBRUK (TAALINTEHDAS in Finnish)

Work premises

DitCenter is situated on a clifftop, in the centre of Dalsbruk and surrounded by good basic services (address: Masuunitie 5). DitCenter provides vacant work spaces, and a number of companies and organizations have their offices in this renovated office hotel, which originally served as an apartment building.

There are 2 furnished offices available for 4 people working on the FLEX project. The package includes an Internet connection, a set of keys, and the possibility to use the copy and fax machines, and shared kitchen facilities. Meeting rooms (and videoconferencing equipment) are also available for use. Working in DitCenter also means having the luxury of a beautiful sea view.

Transport connections, accommodation, meals and other services

The distance between Turku and Dalsbruk is approximately 85 kilometres, and the best way to get to Dalsbruk is by car (route E18 to road Sauvon-Kemiöntie, then to road Dragsfjärdintie etc.). Travelling by bus is also possible (for timetables see: Matkahuolto.fi). Walking is an easy way to get around in the centre of Dalsbruk, but a car is necessary for longer distances. Bringing a bicycle would also be a good idea.

Accommodation is offered by the hotel Strandhotellet Dalsbruk situated in the centre of Dalsbruk. Breakfast is included in the price. The distance between the hotel and DitCenter is approximately 500 metres. The restaurant Portside serves lunch and there is also a restaurant in the hotel. In addition, there are a couple of pubs, a café and a grill by the port.

VELKUA

Work premises

”Sinervo”, as the building is called, is situated onshore, in the middle of the village Teersalo, surrounded by good services. Until last year, the building functioned as the town hall of Velkua. Now Sinervo functions as the common service point of the city of Naantali and as a project work space.

An old council hall has been reserved for the use of the FLEX project. There is plenty of room for a work desk as well as for a meeting table. The package includes an Internet connection, a set of keys, a mail box and the possibility to use a copy machine.

Transport connections, accommodation, meals and other services

The distance between Turku and Velkua/Teersalo is approximately 45 kilometres. The easiest way to get there is by car (the road Naantalintie or Nesteentie to the road Rymättyläntie 189, then to the road Merimaskuntie 1930, then to the road Velkuantie 1931), but taking a bus is also possible (for timetables see: Matkahuolto.fi). Walking is an easy way to get around in Velkua/Teersalo, but a car is necessary for longer distances. Bringing a bicycle would also be a good idea.

Accommodation is offered by the nearby hotel Meriharakka. The hotel is situated approximately 300 metres from Sinervo. Breakfast is included in the price, and lunch can be bought from the restaurants Rantaklubi and Wanha Salakuljettaja as well as from the facility centre Kummeli.

BROMARV (Bromarvi in Finnish)

Work premises

The activity house Villa Vera offers a number of work spaces (address: Bromarvintie 1850). Villa Vera is situated in the centre of the scenic Bromarv and it has a gym, which is in daily use, but this should not affect working in Villa Vera in any way.

There are 2 offices available for the FLEX project: the other one is slightly bigger than the other. The building does not have an Internet connection or a copy machine. Workers are provided with their own set of keys.

Transport connections, accommodation, meals and other services

Bromarv is approximately 140 kilometres from the city of Helsinki and about 35 kilometres from the city of Ekenäs (Tammisaari in Finnish). The easiest way to get there is by car, which also helps getting around in Bromarv.

The Rilax Estate, the Villa Ida B&B and the Hummeldal Estate offer accommodation in cottages both onshore and in the centre of Bromarv (www.rilax.fi, www.stallkrogen.net, www.hummeldal.net). There are also excellent possibilities to organize fishing trips, and you can buy fresh or freshly smoked fish from the local fishermen. Lunch is served in Café Spiltan close to Villa Vera.

There is a village shop in Bromarv and the closest ATM is in Ekenäs. Café Spiltan provides postal services.
