Flexible working culture – rethinking of work, place and life
The FLEX project promotes ways of attracting more recreational residents, employers, employees, entrepreneurs and companies to the islands and the archipelago by means of flexible work. The project contributes to the recognition of flexible work as a natural and efficient way of carrying out productive work, and promotes the health and well-being benefits generated by flexible work arrangements.
By identifying and developing premises that would be suitable, the project develops pilot flexible working centres. In addition, they recruit pilot employers to each centre who let their employees do telework. Researchers will analyse the impacts of flexible work on regional policy, economy and development.
